Academic Improvement Program (AIP)

The Academic Improvement Program (AIP) exists to assist students with improving their academic performance. It includes meeting with an adviser, possible enrollment in study skills courses and limiting the number of hours a student enrolls in.

 

  • Students in the AIP are required to meet with an academic adviser prior to registering for classes each semester.
  • Students should also speak with an adviser prior to withdrawing from any class to avoid potential policy violations that may result in partial or total withdrawal for the semester.
  • Students on supervision or probation are required to meet with an adviser to have their registration schedules approved and registration holds removed.
