Employment Authorization
F-1 students should never work without appropriate authorization. Though eligibility for on-campus employment is immediate, work off-campus requires special authorization. Information about the details of on and off-campus work is provided below. Please use the Employer's Guide to Hiring International Students to help educate your employer regarding Curricular Practical Training as well as Optional Practical Training.
