Immunization Holds

For all new students attending Georgia State University for the first time in 2005, the immunization requirements have been revised by the Board of Regents, effective January 1, 2005, to include MMR, Tetanus/ Diphtheria, Varicella and Hepatitis B (in addition to the Meningitis Law affecting students who reside in university Housing). More information is available online at the Georgia State Health Services Clinic.

Every Student attending classes on our campus must complete the Immunization Requirements of the Board of Regents. Unless immunization records are submitted to the Immunization Office (NOT to admissions office) before the first day of classes, holds will be placed on student accounts to prevent registration until the Requirements are satisfied.  You can obtain a copy the Immunization Certificate online from the Georgia State Health Services Clinic website.
