Course Listing Restrictions
In the online course listings found on the GoSOLAR website, you will find information regarding restrictions or departmental requirements for specific courses. These are provided in two areas, headers and comments.
- Headers - Departments may list general restrictions or requirements shown in bold type immediately below the department name. An example of a header is the registration restriction shown under the CIS department name.
- Comments - Restrictions or requirements concerning specific courses are shown in parentheses under the far right column of each page. An example of a comment is a prerequisite listing, a Freshman Learning Community restriction, a beginning date for a lab, or if a course is a 3-week, 6-week, or 7-week class; a Mini-mester I or Mini-mester II session, etc.
