For information on undergraduate courses restricted to students who have met criteria for entry into teacher education, see “Authorization” section College of Education, Undergraduate Teacher Education Students. Only students who are accepted for graduate study in the Department of Counseling and Psychological Services may register for CPS courses. The department will consider requests for exemptions from students who are not with majors other than department majors where the desired course is an approved elective in the student’s program of study. Requests for this special authorization must be addressed to the department’s Graduate Adviser by calling (404) 413-8000 or coming to 950 College of Education Building. After the initial registration period for continuing students, approval may be granted for such requests. Only students who are accepted for graduate study in the Department of Educational Policy Studies in programs in Educational Administration and Supervision or Educational Leadership may register for EPEL courses that require authorization. Requests for special authorization will be handled through the Department of Educational Policy Studies, (404) 413-8030.
