Art - Certain AE courses are restricted to students who have applied and been accepted into “Teacher Education.” (See the current Georgia State University Undergraduate Catalog in the section headed “Teacher Preparation.”)

FORL - Certain FORL courses are restricted to students who have applied and been accepted into “Teacher Education.” (See the current Georgia State University Undergraduate Catalog in the section headed “Teacher Preparation.”)

CHEM - Important information for ALL science and pre-med majors. Chem 1211K is the prerequisite for all Chemistry and Biology courses at GSU.  To register, you must take a required 45-minute diagnostic chemistry test administered by the Chemistry Department on campus at selected times (no fee for test; please bring non-programmable calculator and #2 pencil). 

Students with a chemistry AP score of 2 or better or an SAT subject score of 600 or better or completion of a college-level chemistry course are exempt from taking the diagnostic test.  Please contact Chemistry Department (404) 413-5500 if you have problems registering for Chem 1211K on GoSOLAR. 

GEOG - Geography 1112 and Geography 1113 labs begin on the second week of classes for the fall and spring semester and the first week of classes for the summer semester.

Music - Certain music courses are restricted to music majors. Students not majoring in music may consult with the School of  Music, (404) 413-5900, concerning waiver of this restriction.

PHYS - Students needing overflows or lab exemptions must visit the website of the Department of Physics & Astronomy.   Certain teacher education courses are restricted to students who have applied and been accepted into “Teacher Education Programs".
