Course 4999
In any College of Arts and Sciences’ department that offers a major consists of directed readings and is offered for credit of one to four semester hours. Registration for the course and the number of semester hours of credit to be granted must be recommended by the adviser and be approved by the chair/director of the department/school and the dean of the college. Course 4999 authorization forms are available in the Office of Academic Assistance, College of Arts and Sciences, 724 General Classroom Building. These forms must be completed prior to registration day. Signatures are required from the instructor of the 4999 course, the respective departmental chair/school director, and the dean or a designated representative of the College of Arts and Sciences. Computer numbers for 4999 courses are available at the time of approval from the Office of Academic Assistance.
