Reserving Classrooms for Special Events

Classrooms can be reserved by faculty, staff, and student organizations affiliated with Georgia State University for special events as well as for academic and course related purposes. Please download the special event reservation form to the right and submit, after it has been completely filled out, by email to: regreservation@langate.gsu.edu

 

Please be advised that effective Fall Semester 2009 the Office of Course Scheduling and Reservations (OCS) in collaboration with the Office of Key Control will implement a new key return policy which stipulates: 1.) Only the person designated to pick up the key(s) is authorized to retrieve the key(s) from Key Control.  2.) Key(s) must be returned to Key Control within 48 hours after the last reservation date.  3.) Failure to return key(s) within 48 hours will result in loss of privileges for the requestor until keys are returned. Please use our new reservation form reflecting these changes for failure to do so will delay the processing of your request.

 

Room Access Information

Due to security issues, please keep your confirmation e-mail with you at all times.  Keys to classrooms can be obtained from Key Control, located at One Park Place within the GSU Police Department. Security (404) 413-3234 may need to be contacted if building is locked.

 

Weekend Reservations

All reservations held on weekends will be charged a fee of $40 an hour per building with the exception of Classroom South, College of Education and General Classroom. Fees will be applied to these buildings only on Sundays and after 5:00 p.m. on Saturdays. However, for holidays and semester breaks, all buildings not opened for normal business will be charged the fee.  For more information, please click here.
