The Undergraduate and Graduate Catalogs and the Student Code of Conduct set forth policies and requirements for Georgia State students. Students are expected to know and comply with these policies. Students may, however file a complaint, petition, or appeal by following the procedures outlined in Georgia State University Policy Procedures for Student Complaints, Petitions for Policy Waivers and Variances, and Appeals [PDF].
Types of requests include: final course grade appeals, admissions appeals, financial appeals, add/drop/withdraw appeals, course load, scholastic discipline, course substitutions, and academic regulation and requirement appeals.
