Construction Details
Section A
The Decatur block between Peachtree Street and Park Place will be under construction starting April 2 and ending April 13. Westbound traffic in this block will be limited to one lane and pedestrian traffic will be directed to the south side of the street during construction.
Section B
Work in the Decatur block between Park Place and Peachtree Center Avenue is scheduled between April 14 and May 14. This work will require closing both westbound lanes. Signs will be posted to detour around this block by directing traffic to Edgewood Avenue and returning to Decatur at Park Place. See map arrows indicating this temporary traffic pattern. Pedestrian traffic will be directed to the south side of the street during construction.
Section C
Work in the Decatur stretch between Peachtree Center Avenue, Collins Street, and Piedmont Avenue will only require the closing of one westbound lane. Date to start and complete this portion of work is yet to be determined. Pedestrian traffic will be directed to the south side of the street during construction.
Section D
The last section of work on the north side of westbound Decatur from Piedmont Avenue to Jesse Hill Jr. Drive is yet to be scheduled. Pedestrian traffic will be directed to the south side of the street during construction.
