Directions

Getting to Atlanta:
Atlanta is the meeting point for three major interstate highways. Follow these directions to get to Georgia State University from almost anywhere. You may also want to check out the campus map.

From I-75/85 Northbound
Exit #246 (Central Avenue/Fulton Street). Follow the signs to Fulton Street. At the light at the end of the ramp, turn right on Fulton. At the next light, turn left on Capitol Avenue. After crossing MLK Jr. Drive, Capitol Avenue becomes Piedmont Avenue and passes through campus.

From I-75/85 Northbound H.O.V. Lane
Exit at Memorial Drive. At the first light, go straight and you will be on Central Avenue, which leads to the campus.

From I-75/85 Southbound
Exit #249A (Courtland Street/Georgia State University) is a one-way street that leads to the campus.

From I-20 Eastbound
Exit #56B (Windsor/Spring Street), go straight to the third traffic light. Take a left on Central Avenue, which leads to the campus.

From I-20 Westbound
Exit #58A (Capitol Avenue) and turn right at the light. Stay on Capitol Avenue, which changes into Piedmont Avenue and leads to the campus.

MARTA 
Take the East/West Rapid Rail line to the Georgia State Station (E1). Exit the station onto Piedmont Avenue and turn right.

 

Getting Around Campus:
The conference speakers and workshop sessions on Thursday and Friday will all be located at the Student Center.  The Thursday evening keynote address will be held in the GSU Arena.  These two facilities are within easy walking distance of one another.
