CTW

CTW Course Approval Process

Critical Thinking through Writing implementation plans and course proposals must be submitted to the Undergraduate Assessment Committee, a subcommittee of CAP for approval.

 Guidelines for CTW course designation:

CTW courses will be proposed by Departments and approved by the Undergraduate Assessment Committee, a subcommittee of the Committee on Academic Programs (CAP).

If they wish, colleges/schools may require that proposals be approved at the college level before going forward to the Undergraduate Assessment Committee. Courses in Arts and Sciences are required to have the CTW designation added to the course description in curriculum committee before courses can be identified as CTW.  Click here for the A & S curriculum committe course addition and change forms.
