Practicum Requirements and Application Process
(General and Advanced):7 client contact hours per week
1-2 initial assessments per week
1 hour of individual supervision per week
2 hours of group supervision (practicum class) per week
2-3 outreach programs per semester
Please note that there is a mandatory orientation for all practicum students (general and advanced) which is typically held during the 3rd week of August each year.
Application Requirements (Trauma and Multicultural Specialty Practica):
Applicants must have completed a minimum of one year of supervised clinical experience. This experience must include direct counseling along with clinical (not administrative) supervision.
