Life Skills

The Life Skills Program offers strategies for enhancing quality of life. The programs are intended to educate individuals about the mind/body connection rather than to provide therapy. Life skills have important implications for the way individuals view wellness. The program’s approach takes into account that physical health is influenced by thoughts, feelings, and behaviors, and conversely, thoughts, feelings, and behaviors can be influenced by physical health. In general the Life Skills Program teaches individuals how to take control of their life - how to use their own individual abilities and healing powers to reduce stress and other negative behaviors and thoughts - and thus enhance a person’s sense of well-being and health.
