Registration
All registration must be done online at: www.registerblast.com/gsu.
Note: Candidates must wait a minimum of six (6) months to retake a CLEP exam.
Test Fees
The $105.00 fee for each CLEP test must be made in two payments:
1) The administration fee is $28.00 and is non-refundable and non-transferable (i.e., if you want to postpone your test date, you must re-register and re-pay the administration fee.) This portion must be paid when registering online and is payable with a credit/debit card or electronic check;
2) The second portion is the test fee of $77.00, payable to CLEP via check, money order, or credit/debit card. No cash or ATM cards will be accepted. The test fee ($77.00) will be paid in the Test Center office on the day you take the test.
NOTE: Students who need to take the optional essay portion of an exam must register online. The optional essay portion has a $28.00 fee and must be paid online during registration. For example: if a student needs to take American Literature with the optional essay portion, they will need to sign up for BOTH the objective portion and the essay portion at different testing sessions. The fees will be as follows: American Literature--$28.00 registration fee, $28.00 optional essay fee (at time of registration), and the $77.00 test fee (payable on the day of the exam) for a total of $133.00. The only exception to this requirement is College Compostion. There is no extra fee for this exam.
Students who need the optional essay must register for both the objective portion of the exam as well as the essay portion. The two exams must be taken in different testing sessions, but can be taken on the same day, space permitting. If you are registering for more than one test, you will be required to pay the full fee for each exam.
