Volunteers

Dear GSU Community,

Georgia State University will celebrate its 95th Commencement exercise on Monday, December 14, at 6:30 p.m. The Division of Enrollment Services is excited to work with some of Georgia State’s finest students, faculty, and staff to make this event as memorable as possible for our graduates.

Due to the vastness of the Georgia Dome and the number of guests expected to attend, the role of volunteer as an ambassador for the university has become even greater. Support from the university community is essential to the success of our students, and it is equally important when we, the university community, celebrate and recognize the achievements of our students at commencement, and other university functions. Please consider joining our volunteer group, and showing your pride in Georgia State University.

If you have any questions, or would like to become a volunteer, you may contact Kortney Watkins, the Volunteer Coordinator, in the Commencement Office, at 404-413-2254.

Thank you for your consideration, and I hope to see you at the Georgia Dome!

Cherise Y. Peters
Assistant Vice President of Enrollment Services and University Registrar
