Colleges

Georgia State is a public university located in the heart of Atlanta. We offer 52 undergraduate degree programs and more than 250 areas of study. Our total number of undergraduate and graduate faculty is over 1300. Click the links below to learn more about our six colleges.

 Andrew Young School of Policy Studies   Consistently achieving high rankings with U.S. News & World Report, the Andrew Young School of Policy Studies houses the departments of criminal justice and criminology, economics, public management and policy, and social work.
 Byrdine F. Lewis School of Nursing and Health Professions The Byrdine F. Lewis School of Nursing and Health Professions offers undergraduate and graduate degrees in nursing, nutrition, physical therapy, and respiratory therapy.
 College of Arts and Sciences From the classroom to the laboratory to the performance hall, the College of Arts and Sciences is the home for excellence and innovation in instruction, research, creative activity, and community service. The college offers over 40 undergraduate and graduate majors in the fine arts, humanities, natural and computational sciences, and social and behavioral sciences.
 College of Education  The College of Education is known for its outstanding programs in education and related fields. The College has comprehensive programs in all areas of teacher education as well as in counseling and sports-related fields. Graduate students may choose from over 30 degrees.
 College of Law  The College of Law is committed to providing an excellent, affordable, and distinctive legal education to a diverse student body; to promoting legal scholarship and service that enrich the legal profession and the communities we serve; and to capitalizing on the unique environment in which we are located.
 Institute of Public Health Accredited by the Council on Education for Public Health (CEPH), the Institute of Public Health offers applied and practical graduate education, offering a Graduate Certificate, Master of Public Health, and Doctor of Philosophy degrees. The Institute is in the process of applying to become an accredited School of Public Health.
  Honors College The Honors College offers students a variety of advantages that can help to create an extraordinary learning environment at Georgia State: tailored classes, advanced research and honors theses, priority registration, top facilities and housing, freedom to choose, and graduate school preparation.
 J. Mack Robinson College of Business  The J. Mack Robinson College of Business is committed to academic excellence through advancing the creation and dissemination of knowledge in business and management. With programs on five continents and students from 150 countries, the college is world-class and worldwide.
