Over 140,00 apps for iPad. Educational apps on iPad look and feel like nothing you've ever experienced. And with apps in just about every academic area, from interactive lessons to study aids, there's almost nothing iPad can't do.
The Center for Instructional Innovation (CII) fosters the use of evidence-based learning pedagogies and funds Georgia State faculty to engage in classroom-based research.
The CII also promotes the use of innovative technologies and classroom practices and provides a forum for all faculty to discuss teaching successes and challenges. If you want to innovate your teaching strategies or talk with other faculty about their experiences in the classroom, or if you are looking for support for a research project of your own, we're here for you.

The guidelines and submission procedures for the FY2013 Regents’ Teaching Excellence Awards and Regents’ Scholarship of Teaching & Learning Awards are now available at http://www.usg.edu/faculty_affairs/awards/. These awards are an important way for the University System of Georgia to focus on the importance of the Scholarship of Teaching and Learning, and to recognize and reward teaching excellence on our campuses. Awards are available for individuals and departments in the categories of teaching excellence and excellence in the Scholarship of Teaching and Learning. If you or your department is interested in being Georgia State University's nominee for one of these awards, please contact the Center for Instructional Innovation at (404) 413-2541 or Dr. Harry Dangel at hdangel@gsu.edu for assistance in compiling the required documentation. You will also want to look at the examples of how previous winners documented their work as listed on the Board of Regents' website noted above.
