2012 Hanban/CI Headquarters Eastern U.S. Local Professional Training for Chinese Teaching Materials & Language Teaching

To help local overseas Chinese teachers better understand and utilize Chinese language teaching resources, to provide fresh perspectives on teaching methodology, and to provide a platform for communication and exchange, the Confucius Institute at Georgia State University is pleased to announce that 2012 Hanban/CI Headquarters Eastern U.S. Local Professional Training for Chinese Teaching Materials & Language Teaching will be held at Georgia State University on October 6-7, 2012. We welcome all interested Chinese language teachers to join us in Atlanta!

The Confucius Institute Joining Forces with Major Business Players in Metro Atlanta to Host the China’s Global Outlook Conference

On June 14, 2012, several major business organizations in the metro Atlanta business community, led by the Confucius Institute at Georgia State University and Georgia China Alliance, joined forces to host a major international event—the China’s Global Outlook Conference. Hosted at the Carter Center, this conference had as its main theme the exploration of the strategies, challenges, and opportunities facing Chinese companies expanding into the U.S. market.

The 3rd International Conference on Teaching Business Chinese--Cutting-Edge Theories and Practice in Teaching Business Chinese

The 3rd International Business Chinese Conference will be hosted by the Confucius Institute at Georgia State University in downtown Atlanta, Georgia, on August 31-September 1, 2012. Proposal submission deadline has been extended to May 15, 2012.
