On November 2-4, 2012, 2012 U.S. South Confucius Institute Directors Conference was held in Atlanta. This conference was sponsored by Chinese Consulate General in Houston and hosted by Confucius Institute at Georgia State University. 30 participants from thirteen Confucius Institute attended this conference.
