To promote Chinese art, especially Chinese films, and to build on the success of the First Atlanta Chinese Film Festival, the Confucius Institute at GSU held the Second Atlanta Chinese Film Festival featuring world renowned film director Fei Xie, who gave two lectures during his visit, one at Georgia State University and the other at Georgia Tech. This festival also featured film screenings that included Black Snow, A Mongolian Tale, Song of Tibet, all masterpieces by Fei Xie.
