Registration FormTo help local overseas Chinese teachers better understand and utilize Chinese language teaching resources, to provide fresh perspectives on teaching methodology, and to provide a platform for communication and exchange, the Confucius Institute at Georgia State University is pleased to announce that2012 Hanban/CI Headquarters Eastern U.S. Local Professional Training for Chinese Teaching Materials & Language Teaching will be held at Georgia State University on October 6-7, 2012. We welcome all interested Chinese language teachers to join us in Atlanta!
This conference will invite officials from the Division of Material Development of Hanban as well as distinguished textbook development specialists, authors, and experienced local Chinese language teachers to introduce the latest Chinesetextbook compilation methodology and philosophy and to share their insights and experiences on Chinese language teaching methods as well as the use of teaching materials in local American classrooms.
Participants of this training workshop can expect exposure and access to the most practical and advanced Chinese teaching resources and methods, such as multimedia, technology, and web resources that can be incorporated in their teaching practice.
