To help local overseas Chinese teachers better understand and utilize Chinese language teaching resources, to provide fresh perspectives on teaching methodology, and to provide a platform for communication and exchange, the Confucius Institute at Georgia State University is pleased to announce that2012 Hanban/CI Headquarters Eastern U.S. Local Professional Training for Chinese Teaching Materials & Language Teaching will be held at Georgia State University on October 6-7, 2012. We welcome all interested Chinese language teachers to join us in Atlanta! 

This conference will invite officials from the Division of Material Development of Hanban as well as distinguished textbook development specialists, authors, and experienced local Chinese language teachers to introduce the latest Chinesetextbook compilation methodology and philosophy and to share their insights and experiences on Chinese language teaching methods as well as the use of teaching materials in local American classrooms. 

Participants of this training workshop can expect exposure and access to the most practical and advanced Chinese teaching resources and methods, such as multimedia, technology, and web resources that can be incorporated in their teaching practice.

•Local teachers engaged in Chinese language teaching

•Chinese program coordinators in k-12 schools, universities, and language training institutes

为了让海外汉语教师充分了解并熟练运用汉语教学资源,拓展汉语教学方法的视野,同时也为了能给海外各地汉语教师搭建一个沟通交流的平台,佐治亚州立大学孔子学院受汉办委托,将于

2012年10月6日和7日在亚特兰大隆重举办国家汉办/孔子学院总部美东地区本土汉语教师教材及教学培训会。诚邀美国地区汉语教学同仁参与本次盛会。

届时,国家汉办和有关出版社的教材编写专家以及本土汉语教学专家将在会上介绍最新的汉语教材的编写理念及使用方法,与大家共同交流汉语教学方法。参加培训的汉语教师将通过此次培训了解最先进的汉语课堂教学资源,感受最前沿、最富操作性的课堂教学经验,进一步提升自身教学实力。

现将培训有关事宜通知如下:
