Conference in Review

The 1st CDT Conference held in the Petit Science Center on the Georgia State University campus March 31st was a great success. There were 158 attendees and 59 posters exhibited. President Mark Becker gave an engaging talk about GSU partnering with the Center for Diagnostics and Therapeutics as well as the Center for Inflammation, Immunity & Infection.

Our distinguished speakers gave very informative talks followed by a lot of Q&A.

The poster session had 6 winners and 5 Honorable Mentions.

The Center for Diagnostics and Therapeutics is holding their 1st conference on campus at Georgia State University that is located at the heart of Atlanta. The purpose of this conference is to celebrate the formation of the Center for Diagnostics and Therapeutics and to bring experts worldwide together to discuss recent developments in related fields. We will have 12 world-renowned speakers and a poster session open to all attendees that will showcase Georgia State University’s Graduate Fellows and the projects they work on.
