Online Credentials Manager
What is Credentials Management?
University Career Services Credentials Management is a partnership with Interfolio, Inc. allowing students, alumni and faculty to create an electronic credentials file to manage your important credentials online. Your file can include letters of recommendation, curriculum vitae, writing samples, dissertation abstracts, teaching certifications, student evaluations, and more. The confidentiality of all items contained in your file is under your control.
Once you sign up and upload your documents, the application process becomes as simple as telling us where you want to apply and when. We do all the work! Information from your credential file may be delivered via mail, email, or electronic transfer to a receiving institution.
Who needs Credentials Management?
Georgia State University Career Services Credentials Management is the cheapest and easiest way for:
- a PhD to send academic credentials to a search committee
- an undergraduate to send application materials to graduate and professional schools
- a teacher to apply for a teaching position.
An electronic file can include letters of recommendation, curriculum vitae, writing samples, dissertation abstracts, teaching certifications, student evaluations, and more. Interfolio has tried to include everything you might need for an application.
Interfolio stores almost any type of information from paper files to electronically uploaded documents. Interfolio converts more than 50 types of documents automatically to Adobe Acrobat (PDF), including text and picture file formats.
There are three types of accounts that can be established:
- One-year plan $15. This includes 5 MB of online storage (~100 documents) for one year.
- Five-year plan $45. This includes 5 MB of online storage (~100 documents) for five years, and gives you three first class mailings for free.
- Ten-year plan $75. This includes 10 MB of online storage (~200 documents for ten years, with three first class mailings for free.
We offer many ways to deliver credentials fast:
- Electronic delivery - $4
- US Mail delivery - $5
- International Postal Service delivery - $6
- USPS Priority Mail (2-3 days) - $9
- 2-3 day delivery and tracking - $14
- Overnight 12:00 p.m. EST delivery and tracking (request must be made before 2 p.m. EST of the same business day) - $25
- Rush overnight 12:00 p.m. delivery and tracking (request must be made before 4 p.m. EST of the same business day) - $40
- International delivery charges must be calculated on an individual basis.
All prices are for deliveries of up to 20 pages - reasonable "overweight" surcharges apply to deliveries containing more than 20 pages.
