Career Fair Details

University Career Services hosts a variety of Career Fairs throughout the academic year. These events are effective methods for employers to connect with new talent and establish a campus presence.

The Government and Non-Profit Career Fair is held during Fall Semester, on the Georgia State University Campus. It is open to all majors with special emphasis on the School of Policy Studies and Human Sciences majors. In addition, the fair is open to students from Atlanta University Center, Agnes Scott College, Emory University, Georgia Tech, and Kennesaw State University.

The Georgia State University Spring Career and Internship Fair is held in late January on the Georgia State University campus. For the past three years, this fair has assisted an average of 600 students from all majors seeking full-time, part-time, and internship opportunities.

The Health Sciences Career Fair is held during Spring Semester, on the Georgia State University campus.

The Health Sciences Career Fair is a collaborative effort between the University Career Services, School of Nursing and The Physical Therapy Department. Students and alumni from Georgia State University majoring in Nursing, Physical Therapy, Social Work, Nutrition, Laboratory Technologies and the Cardiopulmonary Care Sciences are invited to attend. In addition, invitations are forwarded to students from Emory, Medical College of Georgia, Armstrong, North Georgia College /State University, and other college health programs throughout the southeast area.
