University Career Services (UCS) is a comprehensive career center dedicated to the success of Georgia State University students. We do not work in isolation – we work with academic advisors and other career professionals across the campus so as to maximize your success – as a student or as an employer.
What does UCS do?
Two basic things:
- We help students explore academic majors, find internships and jobs, launch careers, explore graduate and professional school options, and pursue their professional goals.
- We also help employers, from big corporations to small agencies, discover, recruit, and hire Georgia State University students. We are like an extension of a recruiting organization’s HR wing, seeking collegiate talent.
In a sense, we are the middle ground – helping students connect with their future opportunities and assisting employers in acquiring new talent for their organizations.
