Greetings and welcome to University Career Services!

We are here to assist students in finding their life’s passion as it is expressed through values, interests, academics, and of course, work. We help students explore their career questions, their interests and opportunities, and prepare them for the job search. We help students select a major that makes personal sense to the student. We help students find internships that are meaningful and we assist in launching the careers of our students. We also help students explore graduate and professional school options (and these will lead on to work, too!). Discerning one’s path is a developmental process and it takes most people time - and that’s good! (A rushed decision often is not the best decision.) We understand that there are many choices and many of these possibilities need to be explored; we are here to help students sort through them!

We also help employers connect with the exceptional student talent pool Georgia State University offers. We facilitate on-campus recruiting opportunities, host well-attended career fairs, and sponsor Panther Career Net, the online comprehensive job board. We assist companies as they develop and implement internship programs for Georgia State students. And we help make those all-important faculty-employer connections that allow for great communication.
