I chose to attend Georgia State because the university fits me so well. From the city atmosphere, the maturity level, and the constant excitement; everything about the school goes so well for me.
Campus Activities and Organizations: Student Judicial Board, Student Justice; Future Black Law Students Association, Dir. of Finance; Tighter Grip, Director of Finance; NAACP, member
Most Memorable Georgia State experience: Panther Prowl Talent Show of Spring 2005
If you could be a cartoon character, who would you be and why? I would be Yogi Bear, because 1) my nickname is Bear, and 2) Yogi Bear was always the cool, persuasive leader of the cartoon... like me!!
Favorite Georgia State tradition: Georgia State’s Homecoming Week
What advice would you give to incoming students? Get involved!! In order for the things you learn in the classroom to work for you, you have to apply them to reality. Plus, student involvement leads to networking, which is highly important in any college but particularly at Georgia State because we're located in the middle of a huge mega city.
After I graduate from Georgia State, I hope to attend law school at either Georgia State University or Howard University, where I will acquire a J.D., and practice law.
