Student Parking Overview
All vehicles are required to be registered on-line and students need to display a current permit to park on campus or at the Stadium Shuttle lot. Motorcycles and mopeds are also required to be registered and need to be parked in designated areas. (Bicycles are required to be parked in the appropriate designated areas.)
Each Fall Semester vehicle registration allows students to register their vehicles for the entire academic year. An academic year consists of the Fall, Spring, and Summer Semesters. Parking Registration is done through ParkingWeb, which can be accessed at any computer lab on campus or through the Internet.
Students residing in the University Lofts and Freshman Residence Hall requesting resident parking, should (1) register their vehicle on ParkingWeb. After registering, (2) complete the University Lofts and Freshman Residence Hall Parking Registration Form, print the form, and submit the form in person to the Auxiliary and Support Services customer service windows.
Students will be assigned one (1) parking permit from their initial registration on ParkingWeb. Students are allowed to register up to two (2) vehicles; transfer the permit to the vehicle that is driven to the GSU campus or Stadium Shuttle parking areas. The parking permit must be properly displayed at all times on the rearview mirror, or on top of the driver's side of the dashboard.
Students with outstanding parking citations will not be issued a parking permit until all fines and penalties have been paid. All parking transactions require a valid PantherCard identification card. For more information, please review the Parking and Transportation Rules and Regulations, or call Auxiliary and Support Services at 404-413-9500 when special situations arise.
