MARTA/GRTA Overview
General MARTA Information
Georgia State University provides discounted monthly MARTA Transcards for students, faculty and staff to encourage consideration of MARTA as an alternative means of transportation to and from campus. A valid PantherCard is required to receive the discount.
Any MARTA Transcards that are purchased at a University location and found to be defective must be returned to a MARTA Ridestore. The closest MARTA Ridestore to Georgia State University is located at the Five Points station.

Students:
Discounted Monthly MARTA Transcards (discounted from $60.00 to $37.50) are available to currently enrolled Georgia State University students at Auxiliary and Support Services, The Rialto Center for the Arts, Student Accounts Cashier’s Office, and the University Bookstore. Faculty/Staff:
Employee Discount Monthly MARTA Transcards (discounted from $60.00 to $49.00) are available for purchase on or around 22nd of the month at Auxiliary and Support Services, Rialto Center for the Performing Arts, Student Accounts Cashier’s Office, and the University Bookstore. Benefit eligible employees may elect payroll deduction monthly MARTA Transcards available only at Auxiliary and Support Services. A valid PantherCard is required to receive the discounted MARTA card. Regular Customer Service Hours:
Monday through Thursday: 8:30AM to 7:00PM
Friday: 8:30AM to 5:15PM; Weekends: Closed
During Semester Breaks: Monday through Friday: 8:30AM to 5:15PM
Rialto Center Box Office: across from the Aderhold Learning Center
Monday through Friday: 10:00AM to 4:30PM

MARTA/GRTA Authorization Form
Please complete and submit MARTA/GRTA Authorization Form to the Auxiliary and Support Services Office with your PantherCard. This form is for use by employees who have enrolled in the Pre-Tax Payroll Deduction Program for discounted MARTA or GRTA passes through the Human Resources Office at Georgia State University, to allow those employees to authorize someone other than themselves to pick-up their monthly passes.
