What is PantherCash?
PantherCash is a debit account linked to the PantherCard. Once your account is opened, you may use PantherCash for various purchases and transactions with a swipe of your card.
How do I open my account and deposit additional funds?
To activate the PantherCash debit account: bring your PantherCard to the PantherCard Office, located on the second floor of the University Bookstore Building, Suite 200, complete the PantherCash Application Form, make a deposit of $5.00 or more using cash, credit, check, MasterCard, American Express or Visa to activate the account. Once the account is active, additional deposits can be made at Value Transfer Stations (VTS) on-campus, at the VTS and PHIL locations, at our PantherCash Online Card Office, and at the PantherCard Office during its normal business hours.
Why should I open a PantherCash account?
Using PantherCash for your purchases allows for fast and easy transactions. In addition, PantherCash account holders are eligible for various discounts at participating retailers and service providers.
The PantherCash Guest Card
The PantherCash GUEST CARD is available for visitors on campus and can be obtained at the PantherCard Office or any VTS (Value Transfer Station). The GUEST Card is not an official Georgia State University identification card, and possession does not guarantee access to Georgia State University facilities or student services. This card can be used at all locations which accept the PantherCard for payment of goods and services, based upon the availability of sufficient funds in your Guest PantherCash account. This card has no cash value and all funds deposited are refundable only through the purchase of goods and services at Georgia State University. After 12 months of inactivity, this card may be deactivated and the remaining funds forfeited. Georgia State University is not responsible for any loss of funds due to theft, abuse, or loss of this card.
