Event Description:
The College of Education’s Department of Middle and Secondary Education and Department of Early Childhood Education will host three information sessions about the college’s new Doctorate of Education (Ed.D.) in Curriculum and Instruction.
This interdisciplinary program, coordinated in conjunction with the College of Arts and Sciences, prepares master teachers to become instructional leaders and curriculum specialists at the school and/or school system levels and who wish to develop expertise in advocacy for equity in teaching and learning, curriculum theory and development, and pedagogical leadership. The Ed.D. in Curriculum and Instruction offers an interdisciplinary approach across multiple content areas, including art, early childhood and elementary education, language and literacy, mathematics, middle level education, foreign language, music, science, and social studies education.
The information sessions will be held from 6-7:30 p.m. in College of Education room 1030 on the following dates:
