Research Opportunities

Georgia State University is classified by the Carnegie Foundation as a Research University with High Research Activity. This classification is based on research and development spending, the level of research activity, the number of staff with doctorates involved with research, and the number of doctorate degrees awarded.

Georgia State is committed to providing our students with a challenging intellectual environment and a wide array of undergraduate degree programs and majors to choose from. Our undergraduate students have exciting opportunities university-wide for innovative research and present their findings at our annual Undergraduate Research Day.
