Post-Baccalaureate: Undergraduate Degree from U.S Institution

If you wish to enter Georgia State as a post-baccalaureate student and have completed a bachelor’s degree at an accredited U.S institution, please apply following the steps below:

  1. Complete the online application and submit the non-refundable $60 application fee. You may also print, complete, and submit the PDF version of the application.
  2. Have the official final transcript from the institution awarding your bachelor's degree sent to Georgia State.
  3. Submit the appropriate documents depending on your legal status:
    • Non-immigrant visa holders: submit a copy of your I-94 card or U.S visa showing current status.

Students on any visa type other than permanent residents are considered non-immigrant visa holders.

      • If you are on a B1, B2, F1, F2, or J1 visa, you must also complete the International Applicant Immigration Form (PDF) and submit all additional documents listed on the form, including an official statement from the academic department you wish to enter at Georgia State explaining the objective of your non-degree course of study.
    • Permanent residents: submit a copy of both sides of your Green Card.
    • Undocumented students: notify the Office of Undergraduate Admissions of your status. This has no influence over your admission decision, but we must be aware of your status in order to proceed with your application.
  4. Read the International Supplemental Information Packet (PDF).

Please note that financial aid is typically not available for post-baccalaureate students.

Post-baccalaureate students may receive a student visa valid for up to one year.
