Mathematics Assistance Complex
The Mathematics Assistance Complex (MAC) provides tutoring for first and second year mathematics and statistics classes. Computers and assistance are also available for those using Excel in these classes.
The Writing Studio
The purpose of the Writing Studio is to enhance the writing instruction that happens in academic classrooms by pairing writers with an experienced reader, who engages them in conversation about their writing assignments and ideas and familiarizes them with audience expectations and academic genre conventions. We focus on the rhetorical aspects of the text and provide one-on-one, student-centered teaching on works in progress.
Language Acquisition and Resource Center (LARC)
The LARC is a multi-functional space that offers support to students of foreign languages. Free tutoring is available, and students may take advantage of the print, DVD, and computer resources available as well.
Digital Aquarium
The Digital Aquarium is an open-access multimedia computer lab, providing high-end workstations for all Georgia State University students. Resources include 3D, video, audio, graphic design and animation tools that allow students to develop music, movies, interactive media, web sites and virtual worlds.
