WRAS-Atlanta is the 100,000-watt student voice of Georgia State University — the most powerful, all student-run college radio station in the U.S. On air since 1970, WRAS is known throughout the U.S for its cutting-edge format and commercial-free broadcasting.

New South

The University’s literary magazine, New South (formerly know as the GSU Review), is published by and for the students of Georgia State. In addition to showcasing the literary and artistic talent of the university, New South offers students an opportunity to gain experience in editing and publishing.

SIGNAL

SIGNAL, the student newspaper of Georgia State University, provides students with an excellent learning workshop and source of journalistic, marketing, photographic and communication skills. SIGNAL is published each Tuesday of the academic semester and can be found in over 50 locations on campus.

Rampway

Rampway, the online voice of Georgia State University students, is an internet media group which allows student writers, photographers, and graphic designers to hone their skills in web design and other technology-intensive fields. 

Cinefest

Cinefest is the Georgia State University student-run movie theatre! In operation since 1991, Cinefest screens a wide variety of films for the community including cult classics, foreign films, documentaries, independent films and Atlanta premieres. Tickets are generally free for Georgia State students.

Digital Arts Entertainment Lab (DAEL)

The Digital Arts Entertainment Lab is a multimillion-dollar entertainment research and production facility located in the heart of downtown Atlanta. Through industry and university partnerships, DAEL facilitates the creation and testing of digital media content. DAEL incubates emerging media arts businesses, trains graduate students and engages in academic research.
