Student Involvement

Here at Georgia State, we want students to thrive both academically and socially. We believe that our students should explore and experience the wide array of organizational clubs and organizations we have to offer! With an astonishing 240- plus chartered student organizations, it is our hope that something will pique’ your interest.

Being involved in the Community is something that Georgia State students, faculty and staff love to do. Students who are looking to “lend a helping hand” are encouraged to visit Civic Engagement.

The Student Government Association is open to any Georgia State student and consists of six internal committees comprised of only Senators to serve.

Students who are interested in GSU Student Media have opportunities such as working for the GSU radio station(WRAS) or writing articles for the GSU Signal newspaper.

Georgia State offers several ways for students to experience the Arts and Entertainment world. Students can find additional information about music, theater and art venues as well.

The Recreation Center is 4-level 161,000 sq ft facility that caters to our students, faculty and staff. The center offers amenities such as saunas, a whirlpool, 35 foot rock climbing wall etc.
