The primary goals of our Panther Express services include timely transporting of students safely to/from various locations on or near campus, while assisting in reducing traffic congestion and enhancing pedestrian safety, as well as reducing vehicular emissions, thus improving air quality in the downtown Atlanta area. In support of clean-air initiatives, almost half of the buses in our PantherExpress fleet operate using Compressed Natural Gas (CNG).

PantherExpress shuttles are accessible to persons with mobility impairments and feature automated passenger lift equipment for safe loading and unloading of passengers in wheelchairs or who otherwise require such assistance. PantherExpress shuttle drivers are fully trained in use of accessibility equipment and are committed to providing courteous and helpful services for all PantherExpress passengers. For passenger convenience, PantherExpress bus stops are equipped with scrolling outdoor signs or indoor LCD monitors that display anticipated arrival times for buses enroute. Additionally, the strategically located LCD monitors provide a graphical display of each route and display the actual bus locations within their designated routes. This information may also be viewed on-line, to obtain the latest up-to-the minute projected arrival times and to view the locations of the buses along the various routes.
