ch webinar series.
Richards is an internationally recognized auth ority on English-language acquisition\, teacher training\, and materials d esign. A well-known lecturer and consultant\, he has taught at universitie s in the United States\, China\, Singapore\, New Zealand\, Canada\, Indone sia\, and Brazil. Professor Richards has published widely\, and among his many successful publications are “Approaches and Methods in Language Teach ing” and “Curriculum Development in Language Teaching.” He is also an acti ve art collector and a sponsor of numerous activities in music and the art s.
\nGlobal Conversations in Literacy Research: A Series of Web Sem inars (GCLR) was founded as a critical literacy project committed to provi ding open and free access to literacy scholarship through web seminars fea turing internationally recognized scholars. GCLR features interactive Int ernet presentations that provide literacy and language arts researchers of all ranks with the opportunity to share their research and work with othe r literacy and language arts researchers.
