DESCRIPTION:<p>Event Description:<br />\nJoyce Many\, associate dean of und
 ergraduate studies and educator preparation\, will lead a forum entitled\,
  “Georgia’s Teacher and Leader Evaluation Systems: Educator Preparation Op
 en Forum\,” on Oct. 30 as part of the Professional Development Wednesdays 
 Speaker Series.</p>\n<p>This forum will review the teacher and leader eval
 uation systems and the efforts by Georgia institutions and Georgia State d
 epartments to integrate attention to these in preparation programs. Follow
 ing the introduction\, faculty will be encouraged to share their experienc
 es\, concerns and/or questions.</p>\n<p>The speaker series is coordinated 
 by Susan Ogletree through the Educational Research Bureau and in collabora
 tion with Joyce Many\, associate dean of undergraduate studies and educato
 r preparation\; Steve Harmon\, chair of the Learning Technologies Division
 \; and with input from College of Education Interim Dean Paul Alberto and 
 chairs of the College of Education’s six departments. </p>\n<p>Professiona
 l Development Wednesdays are held at 12 noon (unless otherwise noted) in t
 he College of Education Forum\, room 1030. Information about the speakers
