Neuroscience is the study of the brain and behavior of animals and humans. It is one of the fastest growing areas of biomedicine and biotechnology, and touches on areas of law, economics, philosophy, education, artificial intelligence and robotics as well.
Neuroscience is an appropriate major for anyone who interested in a scientific career in neuroscience, or working in applied science fields such as mental health, medicine, artificial intelligence, robotics, pharmacology or human engineering. It is also appropriate for fields related to human behavior, including law, criminal justice and education.
This is a suggested 4-year schedule of courses for students to follow, including milestones that should be met each year.
