The Women’s Studies Institute offers a Bachelor of Arts degree in Women’s Studies. The undergraduate courses fall into four strands: Sexualities, Race, Globalization, and Social Change. Each WS major focuses her studies on a particular strand and is required to take at least three courses from that strand. The remaining required courses may be taken from other strands or from general WS course offerings.
Women’s Studies graduates go on to work for foundations, non-profit organizations, and corporations. Others go on for graduate work in Women’s Studies or in a variety of fields and disciplines.
This is a suggested 4-year schedule of courses for students to follow, including milestones that should be met each year.
