Come and visit Georgia State and see for yourself everything the University has to offer.
Georgia State offers daily visit opportunities, Monday through Friday with 45-minute information sessions at 10 a.m. and 2 p.m., and 90-minute campus Atlanta tours at 10:45 a.m. and 2:45 p.m. Both will help familiarize you with our campus and downtown Atlanta.
Please note that information sessions and campus tours are not offered when the University is closed for holidays.

The following tours are offered at the specified times Monday – Friday for:
- prospective students and their family and friends
- guests of Georgia State University
- visitors to Atlanta

Information Sessions
10 a.m. and 2 p.m., Monday - Friday
The Office of Undergraduate Admissions hosts daily information sessions. Each 45-minute session is conducted by an admissions counselor. During these sessions, prospective students and visitors learn about undergraduate admission requirements, degree programs, housing, financial aid options, and student life. Information sessions end in time for interested participants to attend tours at 10:45 a.m. and 2:45 p.m.
Campus Atlanta Tours
10:45 a.m. and 2:45 p.m., Monday - Friday
This bus and walking tour highlights the advantages and excitement of going to school in downtown Atlanta. Guests first ride in Panther Express buses to view our classroom buildings and housing facilities, while passing by popular Atlanta landmarks. The walking tour includes the Recreation Center and various administrative and academic buildings.
Special Tours
Large groups of 10 – 50 people may arrange special tours by filling out an online group tour request form, or by calling the Welcome Center at 404-413-2063. Welcome Center staff can provide a walking tour of campus, reserve conference rooms, schedule speakers, and help make arrangements with on-campus dining services for groups that wish to dine on campus. Requests for special tours must be made two weeks in advance of the desired date.
