The Student Advisement Center (SAC) serves all freshmen students, new transfer students who have fewer than 42 credit hours, undecided majors, and students in the Academic Improvement Program (all undergraduate students with an academic standing of supervision or probation). Students may contact the center by email (sacadvise@gsu.edu) or by phone to schedule an appointment with an adviser.

To apply for student assistantships at Georgia State University, you must:
• Be enrolled as a student at Georgia State University (fees paid).
• Be taking a minimum of six hours of undergraduate classes or four hours of graduate classes this semester to qualify for the student exemption on FICA-Medicare and GDFC.
