Students Offer their Take on Life in Atlanta
Our video contest winners reflect the diverse experiences of students at Georgia State.
Georgia State students are brimming with creativity, and the winners of our Student Video Contest are no exception.
The Students in the City blog recently invited currently enrolled students to submit original videos 60-90 seconds long to tell their story, or friends’ stories, about the value of their experiences in Atlanta.
The idea was to get student perspectives on what it’s like to live and attend university in one of the world’s top global cities.
We got some great submissions from students eager to share their stories. Our top three videos showcase an aspiring filmmaker, a sculpture student and a group of friends making the most of living and studying in a vibrant city of “big dreams.”
Ameer Muhammad took first prize, a Canon EOS Rebel T4I Digital Camera.
Second prize went to Christopher Rhodes Jr. with third going to Darrell Birdsong. Rhodes and Birdson each received a GoPro Camera.
