The Finance and Administrative Division of Georgia State University is charged with the stewardship of financial resources, human resources, and physical facilities that support all academic, student, and administrative functions of the university. The division is structured to provide critical services in support of the mission of Georgia State University. The Vice President for Finance and Administration provides leadership to these functional areas of the university, which together furnish the services that sustain the core activities of the community.

The Vice President also serves as the Chief Financial Officer for the university. Three staff members assist the Vice President in the day-to-day management of operations. The Assistant to the Vice President and Director of Special Projects supports the work of the Vice President through the preparation of financial analyses, coordination of projects for the division, and the conduct of other activities that support divisional initiatives. A divisional Web Coordinator is on the Vice President's staff to support the Finance and Administration departments in the design and enhancement of the departments' web pages. The Web Coordinator also serves as a liaison to the university Webmaster. The Administrative Assistant provides clerical support for the office. The Office of the Vice President for Finance and Administration maintains the Treasurer function for the university.
