Getting Your Poster Printed
You must format your poster with the following guidelines, or we will
not print it:
1. Make your poster a single slide in PowerPoint
2. In page layout, size your poster at 44 (width) by 34
(height). This size creates a flexible ratio of 1.33
Note: Make sure that you check your poster in print preview to ensure
that it will look how you want. DO NOT rely on how it looks on the slide
design page.
Also, be aware that any images will be blown up a great deal to fit
the poster. Check to make sure any pictures have a high enough resolution
that they wont be pixilated on the poster.
Posters e-mailed to purc@gsu.edu will be printed on a first come, first
serve basis. Specifically, posters will be printed in the order you
send them, and no posters will be printed after Friday at 10:30 AM.
Because we only have a certain amount of time allotted to print posters,
if you e-mail your poster later in the week, it is possible that there
will already be enough posters in line before you that your poster will
not be printed.
If there is a problem with your poster, you will receive an e-mail informing
you that you need to revise your poster, and your poster will go to
the back of the line. The best way to avoid this problem is to check
your poster in print preview to ensure that none of the poster is off
the printed page, and none of your text or images are overlapping.
