Changing Your Spectrum Password : 

The first time you login, your Spectrum password is your userid backwards.  This password must be changed to a more secure value, known only by you.

The password is changed from the "PeopleSoft Signon" panel, which appears after clicking on the Spectrum icon.

• On the PeopleSoft Signon panel, enter your userid and current password.
• Click  the Set Password button.
• Next, you will see the Set Password window, where you are prompted to:

  • enter a New Password, and to
  • re-type it in the Confirm Password field

• In choosing your new password, use at least 6 characters, (include at least 1 numeric character and at least one alpha character -- passwords may not be all numeric or all alpha).
• Click  OK.
• Subsequent logins will require this new password.
